🥭If you know me please take a read🥭
I have a thought that has been in my mind for a long time. I don’t think I have ever shared it.
I deal with a brain issue that severely hampers what used to be my mental ability.
I also have several health issues that aggravate that brain issue and make life generally miserable. To the point most people would have probably checked out long ago.
The fact is, though, I have Christ and His Comforter. He really has been my refuge through some of the toughest times — when I felt completely trapped inside my body. Bedridden. Not able to talk, walk, or do much but stare at the ceiling.
Through faith, patience, perseverance, discipline, and finally finding a good doctor, I have gotten to the point where I can semi-function in normal society. I am still a mere shadow of who I used to be. Not because of age. Because of my conditions.
On average I operate at about 25% of what used to be my intellectual level. Yes, it’s still there, sometimes hidden behind mental fog. And when that fog clears, if I choose to use my full intellect in a single day, I find myself crippled and confused afterward.
So my life consists of a huge amount of discipline and very tight routines. I purposely use less of my brain to get things done and pace myself throughout the day and the week.
When I don’t follow that routine — mentally and physically — I end up with things like what happened the other week. Seizures. Passing out mid-stride. Face-planting or falling down steps.
That being said, the other week when I had the seizures, something healed in me. I had not felt hunger for almost eight years. I suddenly started feeling hunger again. That is amazing. I’m not sure yet if other things have changed.
The things I achieve, I accomplish with only about 25% of what I am capable of. I have hoped for so long that God would heal me back to my former self so I could better take care of my family and do great things. Hope, however, is not faith.
I believe that when I had that experience with the seizures, I put my faith and trust fully in God — and He rewarded me.
What I want to ask from anyone who has read this far is prayer. Prayer to heal my mind. But more than that, prayer that I would have the faith to believe God actually wants to heal me.
I went from helping keep some of the biggest companies in the country running smoothly to not being able to tie my shoes. I have been at every kind of level in life. I am thankful for what I have now. But I think God has so much more planned for me.
I am ready... 🙏

Pray for my son Xavier. He had gotten up on his brother's bunk bed and fell off. He look fine this morning, but just a little while ago he started trowing up a bunch in school, his eyes aren't diolating properly, and he says his head hurts and he's dizzy.
He's at the ER, and hopefully his neck is just out of place. Praying that they figure it out soon.
Hopefully this is the end of the bad streak here. This would be number 3 in a set.
Okay so the doctor just talked to us. The CT scan looks clear for bleeding. Says it looks a little agitated. To not have him do heavy activity and chill out and relax.
Monitor his symptoms closely and if they continue after a week to put him up for a MRI.
Thank you for all your prayers and your continued prayers through the week.
The hardest part is going to be keeping that boy still. He's 5 years old and running on rocket fuel
