ICE officer to moronic female protester:
"We are here to arrest a child sex offender. You’re honking and impeding our investigation while we’re trying to arrest a child sex offender. That’s who you guys are protecting… insane."
It’s only a flesh wound…
MAYOR JACOB FREY: "Donald Trump said that Renee ran the ICE agent over."
"Don't take my word for it. Don't take their word for it. Watch the video from every single angle."
"I mean, the ICE agent walked away with a hip injury that he might as well have gotten from closing a refrigerator door with his hips."
"He was not injured."
"Give me a break. No, he was not ran over. He walked out of there with a hop in his step."

Lot of subjective perception in the comments of this debate. Seems like some people think Douglas clearly won and some think Dave clearly won.
This cognitive bias is due to a knowledge gap of both the debaters and the listeners.
Between these two guys, there is a very distinct knowledge gap. But the gap’s existence is only clear to people who also know enough about the subject.
Dave got Ben gurion and Chaim Weizmann confused. He doesn’t even know the basics. He can’t pronounce any of the Hebrew org’s names. He’s getting facts and dates wrong left and right. He barely knows anything. And Douglas is trying to take it in stride, trying to mask how stunned he is that they really brought a guy on with puddle deep knowledge of the conflict to debate him. Unfortunately his perplexity at this is interpreted as elitism by all the other people with shallow understanding of the conflict who can’t detect the major knowledge gap
Thank you @bigfatsurprise
This new article in the Atlantic by Yasmin Tayag begrudgingly accepts that Americans are eating more meat. See below for my summary of her article (with my comments on why red meat is coded right wing).
She writes:
“Now the goal of eating less meat has lost its appeal.”
“Despite all of the attention on why people should eat less meat—climate change, health, animal welfare—Americans have kept consuming more and more of it.”
“Dried meat sticks—think Slim Jims—are the fastest-growing snack category nationwide. Fast-food chains including McDonald’s and Carl’s Jr. have ditched their alternative-meat options. Last week, The New Yorker announced the “Revenge of the American Steakhouse,” which, to some, signals a “restoration of the proper order.””
“Plant-based meat once seemed to be on a path to becoming a dinner staple, but its popularity is in free fall due to concerns about its cost, taste, and healthfulness.”
“The embrace of meat isn’t just about food, but also about what meat represents: tradition, strength, dominance, muscles—values championed by the right.”
MY COMMENT: Tayag accuses the Right of making meat political, but in my view, it’s the Left that has pushed the meat=masculinity meme the hardest—which Tayag then goes on to demonstrate herself for 2 paragraphs: “Some of the most vocal support for the meat-forward lifestyle emanates from the so-called manosphere, a right-leaning internet subculture best known for men promoting different ways to become manlier” Tayag lists the trifecta of Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, along with the word “testicles,” to make meat-eating seem as right-wing and gross as possible.
Tayag closes the article by stating, as FACT, the three non-fact-based arguments made by elites to reduce meat: “Reducing consumption of red and processed meats is better for human and planetary health.” Also, that it’s morally wrong. Tayag closes her piece by quoting the renown ethicist Peter Singer: “Most people can easily continue doing something they believe is wrong as long as they have plenty of company.”
MY COMMENT: Fewer people are buying these non-fact-based arguments anymore. The renaissance of interest in meat is due to the strong science showing that meat is excellent for health—according to the most rigorous science. Red meat is high in nutrients and protein, low in toxins, and free of glucose; it’s arguably the healthiest food on the planet. Men and women, Democrats and Republicans, men and women, have now learned this science, and they no longer trust health authorities in the way they once did.
Wrong on meat, wrong on masks—people are getting it.

Stop the insanity.
This biological man, who has gender dysphoria, not only destroyed his marriage with his wife; but has traumatized his two young daughters into forcing his own children to believe they now have two “mommies”.
This is a field grade officer, in the Space Force, who also spoke at the USAF Academy to inspire the next generation of young leaders by telling them they need to prioritize mental health issues over operational combat readiness. How bout no.
