To the RBI, Finance Ministry & Consumer Protection Cells: Amid the many threats to our democracy, the payday lending mafia remains dangerously ignored. Predatory, unregulated lending, questionable licensing and exploitative recovery practices continue unchecked. Worse, RBI complaints are often closed based solely on lenders’ responses, without borrowers being heard, sometimes denying them a fair opportunity to appeal. Why are such lenders permitted to operate? Who protects borrowers from harassment, exploitation and systemic regulatory failure? मुझे पैसों की बहुत जरूरत थी, इसलिए मैंने एक instant loan लेने का सोचा। मेरा Creditscore कम होने की वजह से ज्यादातर RBI registered lenders ने मेरा application reject कर दिया।
फिर मुझे Google Play Store पर एक app मिला, जिसका नाम 'Rupeeflow' था। मैंने सोचा कि चलो, यहां try करके देखते हैं। मैंने अपना phone no. और PAN details डालकर registration कर लिया।
लेकिन मुझे बिल्कुल अंदाजा नहीं था कि सिर्फ eligibility check करने के चक्कर में मैं इतनी बड़ी मुसीबत में फंसने वाला हूं।
क्योंकि इसके बाद मेरे साथ जो हुआ, उसने मेरी पूरी सोच बदल दी.. 1/3
