It was such a treat to discuss my novel with Al Vuona on his superb program!
"I thought it'd be great to write a character who is a female scientist—an evolutionary biologist." Listen to @JohnWFarrell on @AlVuona's @WICN905 show, The Public Eye, discussing Nora Dunnahaldey, the protagonist of his novel AN UNCOMMON DESCENT: bit.ly/4d7noHn

Maybe the real voter fraud was the voter fraud we committed along the way. Another grotesque display of Republican hypocrisy, exposed by @BrendanHartnett in @BulwarkOnline. thebulwark.com/p/gop-operati…

Sickening is the word. Another reason why 1 in 9 Americans are ex-Catholics....
Sickening. History will judge this, and it will not be merciful. If Trump asked for them to pray over him, and they agreed, it should have been held in private, to avoid what will now happen -- the instrumentalization of this video in the mid-terms.

🎯 Russia is a failed nation, a terror state, a mafia pretending to be a country, a people infected with an imperial virus, a gas station with nukes that barely has any gas left, a Chinese vassal that needs perpetual war to stay intact. It should be quarantined, not elevated.

Washington has discovered a brilliant financial strategy. Cut benefits for people who need them, cut taxes for people who don't, and borrow the difference from people who aren't old enough to vote.

One reason Putin was bold enough to invade Ukraine, then launch an all-out war, was that Europe was too dependent on Russian energy to fight back. Now that Europe is weaning itself off that catastrophic situation, the White House says they should buy Russian gas, for peace? 🤡

Humiliating and dangerous: Trump has now finally just made America an ally of the Kremlin and is aiding Putin in his war against an American friend and partner. Shameful betrayal of a US friend, and pathetic submission to a US enemy. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1…
