I’ve spent much of my life trying to find the answer to the desperate question “do I have what it takes?” frankly, looking inside, I often found my own heart answering “no”…
fear, failure, cope, repeat.
but it’s starting to change.
men and dads, teaching our sons to be honest and open with what they’re experiencing inside is rare air.
most of us had to learn from a therapist or counselor. and even then, later in life…
in my case, later in life. and I’m STILL learning how to be honest with God, myself
trying to write a different story with and for my kids… one where they don’t feel the emptiness or longing for more, because their dad (or mom) was checked out / disengaged
