Excited for our newest publication about how the intrinsic kinetics of H3K9 HMTs maintain H3K9me1 under low SAM levels! Great work, @SpencerHaws, @lilymiller88, and Slava! Check it out!

Great work, @LauraSteenberge and @Pagliarini_Lab! 🧫🧪👩🏼🔬
CoQ10 is large and very hydrophobic, which limits its bioavailability. Our new study, led by @LauraSteenberge, shows that CoQ4 is a sufficient substitute for multiple CoQ functions in cells and can be targeted to mitochondria. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

So jazzed about this preprint! There is so much to learn about SIRT7 with this new fluorogenic assay! ✨
New preprint on @bioRxiv
In collaboration with @JosephRogers100, @JohnDenuLab, and #PernilleHarris lab, we developed an in vitro assay for evaluation of SIRT7 modulators, performed #SAXS studies, and discovered cyclopeptide inhibitors, using #RaPID

Congratulations, Zhangli! 🎉 Can't wait to see what your lab accomplishes! 🧪🧫🧬
A personal update while working on #RNA23 badge... Excited to announce that Su Lab will open its door @UABGenetics in July! We are recruiting at all levels for anyone who is interested in RNA modifications, gene regulation, NGS analysis and cancer biology. (1/4)
Stop by Lily's seminar to hear about her thesis work investigating the catalytic mechanisms of epigenetic enzymes! 🧬🧫🧪📈🧵
IPiB seminar this week will be given by Lily Miller (@lilymiller88) from the Denu Lab (@JohnDenuLab). More info: ipib.wisc.edu/uw-event/ipib-…
Our newest member of the Denu Lab Pragyan Mishra completed her external reviewer PhD defense in Infection Epigenetics from KIIT today! Congratulations, Dr. Mishra!! We're so happy to have you in our lab! 🧬🦠🎉
Great job presenting your studies about how diet can affect host epigenetics and Alzheimer's! 🍽️🦠🧫🧬

Always jazzed to talk about how metabolism and epigenetics are intertwined. Thanks, EpiCypher!
Yesterday we were pleased to host @JohnDenulab for a lively discussion of his lab's latest research on how the #epigenome responds to metabolic stress. Thank you for visiting and being a part of our continuing education series at EpiCypher!
Congrats, @briansmithlab!
We're excited for our PBRM1 bromodomain inhibitor work to be featured in @PracticalFrag! A nice example of our @mcwchembio fragment screening pipeline. Thanks to @EmilyDykhuizen for cell work. @MedicalCollege @MCW_Research
So saddened to hear about the passing of C. David Allis. Wonderful work done in the chromatin field and more importantly, such a wonderful colleague. You will be missed.
Such a great resource!
Just updated and expanded: our massive database of postdoctoral fellowships. These are all fellowships NOT attached to any specific university.
We include description, $ amount, deadline, field, and eligibility criteria.
