I am horrified by today’s attack on two Jewish men in London. Antisemitism, hatred and violence has no place in our society.
My thoughts are with the victims and their families at this difficult time.

I am appalled by the horrific arson attack on the Hatzola ambulance service in London last night.
My thoughts are with the Jewish communities up and down the country who are waking up to this horrendous news.
Antisemitism, hate and division have no place in our society.
Regardless of arguments about the war there cannot be any justification for setting fire to ambulances just evil

This Labour government has frozen rail fares for the first time in three decades - putting money back in people’s pockets and easing the cost of living for hard-working people.
After years of Tory neglect, we’re building a railway that puts passengers first.

Really good article from the team over at @SalfordNow on local folk musician, playwright and committed socialist Ewan Maccoll, as part of their Salford Heroes series celebrating the Salfordians that have shaped our city over the past hundred years.

How unpatriotic can you get as Tories and Reform suggest we should simply do as we are told by Trump

The Salford we experienced at this diverse community event is the Salford I know and love - that of solidarity over division, of mutual respect over distrust, and love over hatred. This is the true essence of our city, one that belongs to everyone no matter your background
Bit tired of the BBC suggesting that is unusual for Governments to lose by Elections Big shout out for Salford activists who worked so hard

Its so disappointing that the memorial bench honouring Mike Thorpe has been stolen from outside The Broughton Trust.
Mike was a dedicated servant to the people of Salford, and an incredible champion for our city.
If anyone has any information, please contact the Trust directly.
