Blessed to sign with @SFA_Football

@SFA_Football head coach @CoachCarthel says TE Gerard Edimo's football career is likely done after suffering a significant injury in Saturday's game against Prairie View A&M.
Carthel calls it the second-most dirty play he's seen in his 27-year coaching career.

Signing Day Tomorrow! None of this would have been possible without the people who supported me every step of the way. Thank you to my coaches for believing in me, my parents for every sacrifice, and my teachers for pushing me beyond the field.
This is just the beginning. 🙏🏽🏈

UPDATE: Eddie Salas stepped down from SA Harlan to take the job at SA Pieper. Both had fast tracks to success. Pieper went from 2-8 in yr 1 in 2022 to 5A quarterfinals in 2023. PHS also 1 of 2 to beat Smithson Valley in the last 2 years. Warriors will be in 6A in the fall.

Hate to see Eddie Salas go but he did do a lot as 1st SA Harlan coach. In 2018 Harlan, along w/Vets Memorial, became the 1st San Antonio area schools to ever win a playoff game in their 1st varsity season and both broke a 90-year old record for most wins by a 1st year SA program. He also beat cancer last year.
