Thanks for that @NottsDoesComics but it's a comic novel (like words, no pictures, but a few maps) not a graphic novel! Flying of the shelves… in Gotham!!
NDC founder @JohnBrickClark has a new #comic out, building on the #WiseMenOfGotham legend: buy direct

… and on the cusp of Mental Health Awareness week, here's a legendary protest that put a local Notts village on the world map. Available from next week @ bit.ly/3bbje11
Protests are important in changing the world for the better. The powerful don't relinquish power willingly, so understanding the importance of how protests achieve change and innovate is important in any field. In solidarity with academics at #Leicester

…a Comics Laureate & shopkeeper who's totally blanked this independent book the French called 'the best non-fiction bande dessinée of 2020' & others called 'a magnificent obsession', 'comic genius', 'utterly brilliant', 'an absolute delight' & 'extremely funny'. Ho hum…
It's finally a thing: I'm your new Comics Laureate.
HUGE thanks to my predecessors @davegibbons90 @CharlieAdlard @streakofpith for their support.
I know I've a lot to prove to those haven't experienced my passion firsthand. I'll start by teaching @Abraham_Moss on April 26th.
So sad to learn of sudden & unexpected passing of Jess Kemp, undoubtably the most industrious, unassuming, inspired and inspiring artist in Nottingham in many years. She brought so much colour to my B&W world. Deepest sympathies to her family and the @cityartsnotts community.
Ooops, that should be - Sat. May 8th 8:00pm GMT - 'Exploring Mental Health Through Comics' with
@gemmacorrell, @ellen_forney, @TheBadDr & me (Brick) @ Schultz Museum bit.ly/3cGmxyu to register. Should be nicely contentious!
