⭐ TWO STRANGERS (CARRY A CAKE ACROSS NEW YORK) - CRITERION THEATRE ⭐ After the critically-acclaimed and hugely successful Kiln Theatre run of Two Strangers (Carry A Cake Across New York), the new musical makes its West End debut 🎂 @2strangersshow tells the story of Dougal and Robin, as they're brought together unexpectedly during Dougal's trip to NYC to meet his Dad for the very first time 🗽 Sam Tutty is ridiculously charming and funny as Dougal, playing opposite the soulful Dujonna Gift's increasingly exasperated Robin, who is hiding a secret or two. They're an incredibly watchable double act, with chemistry galore, sparking off each other wonderfully ✨ Jim Barne and Kit Buchan have written such a witty, romantic adventure, that is chockful of hilarious one-liners. Can you believe, a rom-com that actually remembers to be funny! ! ! 😂 They don't forget the heart though, which can be seen massively in the many beautiful ballads the show has. Also if you're not humming or singing the incredibly catchy number "New York" after seeing this show, I question if you enjoy musical theatre 😉 The show also features some of the most ingenious set design by Soutra Gilmour, which constantly transforms and delights throughout the show 🎭 The best British rom-com in YEARS... and it's a musical! ! ! 💖 Go see and support this gorgeous new British musical, you won't regret it.
