"Mastery requires lots of practice. But the more you practice something, the more boring and routine it becomes. Thus, an essential component of mastery is the ability to maintain your enthusiasm. The master continues to find the fundamentals interesting."

Great point 🤝🏻
Seeing a lot of posts saying music NFTs have failed. This completely misses the point of tech adoption, thinking that music NFTs are a product, when they are just another tool in a music creatives toolbox, one that is following many other tried and tested tech innovations. Failed would indicate they are over. What if instead we think of this whole process as a continuing exploration of the tech, which itself is evolving. Everything is an experiment. Look at the adoption of email which took nearly 50 years to where for us all it is just sending messages. Tech innovation goes hand in hand with tech adoption. We are the pioneers.

Authenticity and depth are crucial in building a true fan base, as opposed to focusing solely on building a large following

The most important thing in the future of artists will be focusing on DEPTH not WIDTH.

Focus on building DEEPER connections, not more.

Make sure your demo is 100% finished if you send it to a big artist 🫵

Should you send your demo to ONE or MULTIPLE labels at the same time?

“figure out what you’re good at without trying, then try” is one of my all-time favourite sentiments — you’ll never get tired of doing what feels fun and easy to you, so why not *try* to make what you do indefinitely (your vocation) something you would do forever, with pleasure?

Many artists think that it's all about good music and less about promotion, what do you think? 🫵

The biggest mistake an artist could make is that he or she waits with putting their music into the world because they're afraid that it's "not good enough" or "not finished yet". Just release it and get that ball rolling!
