🗣️THE WARNINGS AND THE TRUTH Four years ago we warned where this was heading. We warned about the marginalisation and eradication of generational match-going Reds. Nobody listened. We warned about the Americanisation of our game. Nobody cared. We warned that if Ratcliffe didn’t change direction, he’d become another Glazer in all but name. Polls said give him more time. So we did. We even postponed a protest at Arsenal because fans wanted to give him more time. Again we got abuse. That decision demotivated lads in The 1958 who have sacrificed years of their lives, time, money and energy fighting for this fanbase and never asked for a thing in return. Some lads had personal abuse. Not after sympathy, those are the facts. We never asked for nothing in return. We always preferred to be pissing from the outside in.
