My grandfather was one of those brave heroes. Never forget 🙏
Saddened to not see #OscarNoms for #MargotRobbie as #Barbie or #GretaGerwig in highest grossing film of 2023 & by any female director EVER!! Only 8 women have been nominated for #BestDirector in #Oscars 96 yr history. This needs to change. What a missed opportunity #Oscars2024

Betty White loved animals. To honour her incredible life and what would have been her 100th birthday, I donated to the @BC_SPCA May her love and compassion never be forgotten ❤️#BettyWhiteChallenge #BettyWhiteDay #BettyWhite

BC friends if you want to help protect our beautiful old growth forests, please consider writing to your MLA and kindly let them know how you feel. bit.ly/3pbpD2f
And one day they’ll all be gone @jjhorgan if you don’t do something to protect the last of our ancient forests. Please don’t wait till it’s too late. Our climate and future generations are counting on you 🙏 #bcpoli #oldgrowth #climatecrisis #saveourtrees

British Columbia’s old-growth forests are nearly gone. @jjhorgan promised to protect ancient trees, but he still hasn’t acted. We need a moratorium on logging now. URGENTLY. #ProtectOldGrowth #BCpoli xitter.cf/leadnowca/status/13820…
Crowdfunded by @wildernews @AncientForestBC @SierraClubBC & @leadnowca, we’re putting up a massive billboard on Vancouver Island’s busiest highway calling on @jjhorgan to deliver on his promise to protect old-growth.
Share this to make sure he sees it. #ProtectOldGrowth #BCpoli
ALT The background image of the billboard is if a clear-cut forest area. A person stands next to a massive, logged ancient tree. The text on top reads: "Beautiful" British Columbia?. On the bottom half, there is a red rectangle with the text: Horgan: Protect old-growth. At the bottom, the logos of Leadnow, Ancient Forest Alliance, Wilderness Committee, and Sierra Club BC.
