Too many wasted opportunities again

Probably our worst performance of the season but a much needed 3 points

Same old story Go one up Miss multiple sitters Concede 1st proper chance Hang on or concede late to lose. Faulkner another mistake to give away goal and Male should do better for the first. No win in 6 and less points than under Crosby at this point last season.

“It’s hard playing against teams who sit in” yeah it is when you take 20 touches and play side to side. Move the ball quicker and get it into wide areas and into the box. I don’t know how England haven’t figured that out yet, been the same every time we face the situation.

We’re such a frustrating team but at least we look better attacking.

Story of the season and the reason we won’t be play offs. Some of the players need to start taking more responsibility with chances. Ince genuinely could be close to double figures with the amount of chances missed. Whittaker and Ironside today too. Frustrating as played well.

SWA

Ince missed 2 sitters in the 1st half, that was the difference as Exeter didn’t offer much. Too many games we should have taken more points than we have. Still miles better than last season though.

Great win and performance. Feels like we’re watching an actual Tranmere team which is the first time I can say that since the Mellon days.

Frustrating again. Missed 3 big chances, one being an open goal and shocking game management to see the game out. Enjoyed watching us tonight but worrying we’re not learning,

Frustrating as looked okay at times and should have had more than 2 goals. Got to stop and save the 2nd goal Less said about the penalties the better Hard to take much from game as I feel as if Rochdale will be bottom half but at least more positive than last season.

Good to finally get to the Hill Dickinson last night to watch England Women v Ukraine Women.

Nothing but respect for Gareth Southgate. Should be a role model to any young kid growing up. Hope to see him doing more of these sort of documentaries as the topics definitely need covering.

Buzzing for you @LiamFitzYNWA great move. Looking forward to getting down there and watching a few games ⚽️👍

Happy with the appointment and a name I suggested before Wild came in. Hopefully given the time to build a squad and philosophy.

That’s got to be one of the best boxing matches I’ve seen in a while 🥊

Great to see 1874 go up. Personally good to see @LiamFitzYNWA get his promotion after 3 unsuccessful play off attempts, 4th time lucky 😂. The club deserves to be a league higher, look forward to getting there again next season.

Some unreal performances 2nd half to turn the game round, good to see the lads dig in and get the 3 points. 4 points clear with 2 remaining 💪

The strokes tickets sorted 🎶

After the result last night Tranmere need 4 points from the next 2 games minimum. Would take a draw Saturday and a win Tuesday.
