People think John magically made these devices within weeks have no idea how product development works. These were in development for years so technically it was under Tim Cook that these came to fruition.

My prediction on why they raised the prices on the base iPhone 17, 17E and 16. Is so that when they introduce the new base 18 model Apple can come and say it starts at the same $899 starting price.
Only expected to go up by $100. This was already said in a previous article you wrote.
iPhone 18 Pro Price Hike to Be Lower Than Expected macrumors.com/2026/09/09/iph…
the amount of peoples these last few days that I’ve experienced at work buying the iPhone 17 Pro and pro max is honestly insane. Just wait a couple of days for the pros to drop in price (not the 18 pros)
Until they make a dedicated bass unit/subwoofer not interested in the slightest. A good surround sound setup always sounds the best with a subwoofer

OASIS TO ANNOUNCE RECORD-BREAKING SIX KNEBWORTH SHOWS & 12-NIGHT ETIHAD RESIDENCY END OF AUGUST
An insider said: "Oasis’ schedule is booked for next year. It’s 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June. They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September.“
Tickets are expected to drop this September.
More dates could be added but for now that’s the MASTERPLAN.
Apple will begin rasing prices on its iPhones next week starting on August 10th. This follows the recent price increases of its other products.

Just when you thought the HomePod was already overpriced they then make it even more expensive. $350 for a HomePod with old specs and Siri that’s in beta. Neither of them sound good enough for their price
