"You have to create your own opportunities... This is as good a region as any to start a business."

The most difficult PR job in the world. I feel bad for Katie - every one has a challenging first day at some point in their lives. Unfortunately, hers was in front of the White House press corps.
President Donald Trump has told press secretary Katie Zacharia to reconsider her role as his top spokesperson, he told reporters at the White House. cnn.it/4scYRXF
Brutally hilarious.
The #NJDevils are trolling Rangers fans heading for the exits with the train schedule.
Wow.
Hollywood’s center of gravity is increasingly tilting to the East Coast.
While California kept its crown at No. 1 with $1.76 billion in movie and TV production spend, New York is drawing major titles at a much more rapid pace, according to industry tracker ProdPro’s closely-watched quarterly snapshot released on Thursday. The state surged 87 percent in production spend in the quarter to $1.61 billion compared with California’s 17 percent uptick.

Being at that game up beneath the John Hancock sign was one of the greatest sports moments I've witnessed in person. What a game.

Yikes.
A Republican political group accidentally spent nearly $25,000 running ads to help Sen. Susan Collins in Portland.
Portland, Oregon, that is. Not Portland, Maine. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…
As much as I am a fan of Chris Christie in many ways, respectfully disagree with this take.
Joe Biden was hopeful.
Barack Obama was hopeful (can someone say "Hope and Change").
Hell, even George W. Bush at moments.
Bill Clinton (literally from a town named Hope).
Young people today have never had a hopeful president in their lifetime. All they've had is Trump angry at Biden, Biden angry at Trump, Trump angry at Kamala, and Kamala angry at Trump.
When I was their age, I had Ronald Reagan. Every time you listened to him, he made you feel better about America and more hopeful about the future.
I used to start trailers 10-15 minutes before the scheduled time for the last show of the day so I could go out earlier. So if a movie started at 9:30 p.m., the movie itself started at that time.
Genius? Yes. Not great for latecomers? You betcha.
