Julian Edelman on Drake Maye:
Per: @NFLonFOX, @Edelman11
“I don’t think Josh really tweaked anything. This is a product of a 24 year old quarterback who probably went through the first bit of adversity in his career. I talk with Josh all the time and he goes “nothings ever been hard for this kid. He goes out and he shoots a 78 at Augusta, can win a 3 point contest, he can hit dingers when he’s at a home run derby. He’s good at everything he does, and probably the best thing for him was to go through a little adversity.””
Incredibly well said by Julian. Drake Maye having some adversity and growing from it could be one of the best things to happen to the kid.

So let me get this logic straight:
Drake Maye does well:
“the opponents defense is bad/ the schedule is easy”
Drake Maye does poorly:
“Drake Maye actually sucks, nothing to do with the defense”
Do I have it right?
When Maye plays well it’s not because he’s good, and when he plays poorly it’s exclusively because he’s sucks?
This narrative is so absurd and transparent.
