Looking at this it's quite clear the left were pushing a split voting campaign. Don't let the media claim the rights win doesn't count because of split voting.
The greens won EVERY university.
EVERY university 70%+ votes left.
In 10 years, the green voters will have kids. 18 years later, those kids vote left.
NZ needs to fix academic political manipulation NOW before it’s too late.
Every class Im taking said “vote left”.
@aniobrien
@EricaStanfordMP You have been the country’s greatest Education Minister.
Please, you need to make addressing the institutionalised political agenda a priority during this term.

🚩Winston Peters just minutes ago, in front of a packed meeting at Avalon and in an unprecedented move has endorsed National’s Chris Bishop for the seat of Hutt South.
“This electorate is the closest and most consequential for the whole country, we have never done this in 33 years, but we feel we must endorse Chris Bishop”
WP has endorsed Bishop in a move to save the coaliton Govt, and in the process Chris Bishop - something Luxon has refused to do by pushing for a wasted party vote at the expense of electorates.
Today NZ First candidate Alistair Boyce endorsed Chris Bishop for the candidate vote in Hutt South. The two shared a Steinlarger during his segment on the platform.
Bishop is up against it in his seat and needs centre right voters to give him support.
This is quite a laugh of an interview, Bishop is doing his best not to agree with the split voting strategy
Bishop : (grinning) “I don’t agree with it”
Boycie : “I don’t care if you don’t agree with it, I know you are only towing the party line, with directions from the top”
A text comes in “Do you think Seymour should give up his electorates?”
Bishop: “I think those electorate votes should vote for their National candidates”
Then caller Paul debates Chris over the strategy, and wins. It’s all in pretty good humour - Bishop “Is it Harry Mowbray on the line next?”. This is probably the most relatable i’ve seen Bishop ever.
Penny Gaylor NZ First candidate for Ōtaki (another marginal seat)
calls in, she is hoping Nationals Tim Costley wins the electorate.
Worth the watch and read between the lines whst Bishop is saying.
Hutt South - keep Ginny Anderson out,
Electorate vote Chris Bishop
Party vote NZ First or Act.

The indefatigable Hon. Maurice Williamson with Penny Marie & Paul Matthews explains strategic voting and why around 870,000 PARTY votes for National will be completely wasted which will hand the election to the left - UNLESS they are recycled to NZ First or Act.
Seriously Maurice needs a honour, make it a knighthood for his dedication to getting the centre right get over the line.

Chris Hipkins once again claims “cabinet amnesia” right before his own exact words defending the non-cancellation of gang programme funding are repeated back to him…..then says he needs to go check the quote for context.
Come on.
I hope Chris Penk lives a happy life knowing he tried to stop this trainwreck.
AI slop like this affirms National’s terrible polling and shows how passionless they have become.
Thank you for your service, @penknz 🫡
Dictator Swarbrick finally saying the communist parts out loud:
“Forcing the sale” of private businesses is as dictatorial as the Greens wanting to abolish the police
She radicalises mentally-unwell youths & they’ve demonstrated murdering Winston Peters.
Very dangerous times..
The Greens' supermarket policy is not just a bad economic idea. I believe it crosses a moral line.
They want to require at least 120 supermarkets and distribution capacity to be sold into public ownership to create KiwiMart. They estimate $2.8 billion to acquire the assets and fund the business.
They propose compensation. But paying someone does not make a compulsory sale voluntary. If the owner cannot say no, the government is using its power to take control of private assets.
My objection is not simply that politicians might run supermarkets badly. Even a promise to run them well does not give the state a moral entitlement to own someone else's business.
Property rights mean very little if they only protect you until a politician thinks your assets would be more useful in government hands. These are not favours the state grants when it approves of you. They are part of what allows free people to build, invest and plan their lives.
I want cheaper groceries. I also want more competition. But wanting a desirable outcome does not make every method of achieving it acceptable. Another person's property is not automatically yours to take control of because you believe you could use it for a public benefit.
That does not mean supermarkets should be above the law. Fraud, collusion and unlawful exclusion should be investigated and dealt with through proper legal processes. Being pro-capitalism means defending competition, not protecting established companies from it.
But identifying a competition problem and deciding the government should own the businesses are different things. One does not automatically justify the other.
There is an economic problem here too. Government ownership does not remove the cost of food, wages, electricity or freight. If a public supermarket cannot cover its costs, someone still pays. Moving a cost from the checkout to the taxpayer does not make it disappear.
The Greens say KiwiMart would support itself commercially. That is their intention. It is not a guarantee, and it does not answer the property-rights objection.
I want a government that makes it easier for people to compete, produce and serve customers. Remove barriers to new stores and wholesale supply. Enforce fair rules. Let businesses earn our money by offering better value.
We should not have to surrender the principle of private ownership to get affordable food. A government should protect our rights, not treat them as obstacles to its plans.
Big turnout for BirdFlu Vaccine Protest in Canberra.😜
Well done to whoever put this together, but when there are approximately one billion individual wild birds in Australia across roughly 800 to 900 species - anyone who thinks they are saving the birds by injecting them is totally cooked.
