At this stage, most (all?) of the blog posts and self-published articles you see about AI were clearly written by AI. The snake is eating it’s own tail over on the professional social network.
“X” (I.e., Twitter) resolved the momentary confusion for many in #NYC about whether we just had an #earthquake or someone drove by with a ton of bass in their system.
I’m living proof it’s perfectly fine to smile on the subway, however, one must be a master of not making eye contact while doing this. I’m usually smiling because a good song came on my playlist, or I thought of something random/funny, or a slice of pizza is at the next stop.
I have a lot to say about design right now but not sure where is best to say it. The high-level version is I’m seeing the best UX work is happening in-house. The space to be reflective and focus on process is like a breath of fresh air, oxygen finally back in my lungs, thankful.
Haven’t really tweeted since Twitter became X. I don’t want to start a blog, but I’m not sure what this is anymore. That’s it. That’s the tweet (the X?). Finally updated the app. Icon shows “X.” Vibes feel off. Maybe I’ll warm up to it. I dunno. Le sigh.
Learning Webflow with ChatGPT as my helper... Lots of this back at me tonight, "Apologies for the confusion in my previous response. You're correct that the 'While Scrolling In View' section is not applicable in this case. I apologize for the incorrect information."
Upper east side #manhattan #nyc air quality warning; close those windows and turn air purifiers on full blast today.

Just for today, I’ve demoted ChatGPT with the limitation of suggesting paragraph breaks only, the constraint helps
A few words of encouragement for UXers... It's tough out there, a lot of uncertainty in the world. If you're a designer, then you're here for it. The world still needs design, and disruption is everywhere— We embrace it: the uncertainty, the ambiguity. If not us, then who?
Observed weird UX:
1) TWTR when you want to offer support to someone and the replies are disabled for people they don't follow; okay then.
2) LinkedIn is all like, "Lead the convo and turn your comment into a post (CTA)" — is that asserting dominance? Really, I'm good w/ comment
The curve of growth with AI tools is exponential. Now that it’s out in the wild, we’ll see rapid innovation. For design of appearance models, we’ll see streamlined automation. For experiences, a human touch will remain essential to listen and orchestrate with intent.

Gradually increasing the fidelity of designs helps the team spot problems with the idea.
Jumping straight to high fidelity visuals only helps spot problems with the visuals.
