Every chemistry teacher you had lied a little. The hydrogen atom isn’t a frozen blob, it’s this.
This is hydrogen, the simplest atom there is, with its probability current drawn as moving particles. The small shape in the corner is the orbital you were taught. The swirling field is what the Pauli equation says is flowing through it.
Orange spins one way, blue the other. Even the ground state, the one textbooks call perfectly still, carries a current, because the electron’s spin adds a flow of its own.
None of this is an electron racing on a track. It’s the math of where it’s likely to be, and that math refuses to sit still.

Fun fact: the family name "Zhuge" (诸葛) is very rare in China and associated with Zhuge Liang, a master strategist during the 3 kingdoms period and one of the smartest persons in Chinese history.
She definitely lives up to her name 👇
You'd wonder what brightspark thought of updating their app on a bank holiday weekend.. only to notify you in writing about their security pin in 3 to 5 days by post.. @AIBIreland
There's no question about it.. how they operate can and must change.. there's new tech, methods, offsets, mitigation and designs #datacentres @wattr
A guy just turned standard home Wi-Fi into a radar that sees through walls.
Over 62,000 stars on GitHub for a system that tracks humans without using a single camera lens.
It doesn’t just know you’re there.
Watch what happens when a person lies down on a bed in another room.
The AI instantly maps their exact posture, tracks their breathing, and calculates their heartbeat in real-time.
No optical surveillance, no privacy leaks - it just analyzes how your body disrupts ordinary radio waves.
The whole thing runs on a tiny $5 microchip.
Traditional security requires a direct line of sight and invades your personal space.
Now, your Wi-Fi router is a camera that sees through solid brick.

RuView needs extra ESP32 nodes (~$9) with custom firmware; standard home routers alone cannot. Docker defaults to simulated data. Research concept is real; audits/users report short of advertised exact through-wall pose, breathing and heartbeat.

Ribbons of plasma dance across the boundary of Earth and space 🤩 The space weather we having coming will create beautiful aurora as well in just a day or two! The incredible beauty of our home in the Cosmos continuously amazes me!
Day 139, orbit 2155 — After the pictures (available in HD on my Flickr account), I'm so happy to finally share the timelapse of the most spectacular aurora of the εpsilon mission so far!
🤩 Watching this glowing green ribbon shimmer and dance, it's easy to lose yourself completely in the magic of the moment. Turn the sound on for the full experience – the music was carefully chosen to bring you as close as possible to what I felt watching this from space 💚.

Two heat domes will combine to form big US heatwave thehill.com/policy/energy-en…

Telling the UK to "just get AC" during heatwaves is ridiculous because we are hitting unprecedented 37.7°C (99.9°F) heatwaves in June.
Our brick homes are insulated to trap heat, not release it. Retrofitting is expensive, energy bills are soaring, and our grid can't handle it. We never needed AC before because 37.7°C early-summer heat was completely unheard of.
This isn't a simple appliance fix. It is a terrifying reality of climate change smashing a 50-year-old June record three days in a row. Pumping more AC just burns more fossil fuels, fueling the vicious cycle.
We need structural solutions, not lazy advice.

Insulation reduces heat transfer in both directions, keeping homes warmer in winter and cooler in summer by preventing external heat from entering. which.co.uk/news/article/i… insulationuk.co.uk/blogs/news/how…

No levantó inversión. Solo resolvió un problema que molestaba a millones de personas.
A veces el cambio real lo hace una sola persona que se cansa de las cosas como están.
