Dr. Korinda Walls, our Business and Public Service Department Chair, is in Boston this week attending Harvard Business School! She was selected to attend a workshop on using the case method to teach American history and civics - a structured form of discussion-based learning that brings rigor and challenge to the classroom for all levels of learners. She's excited to bring what she has learned back to the Home of the Shamrocks this fall! ☘️

🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Jonathan Zivojnovic ‘99 🌟 Jonathan Zivojnovic ’99 has built a successful career in real estate while staying deeply committed to serving his community. After St. Pat’s and DePaul University, Jonathan founded River Elm Properties, where he leads a full-service real estate firm specializing in residential and commercial sales, leasing, management, and redevelopment. A proud Shamrock, Jonathan has served as an Elmwood Park Village Trustee since 2013, mentors students through St. Pat’s INCubator program, and was honored with the Shamrock Pride Award in 2024. Today, the Shamrock tradition continues in his family through his sons, Dominic ’27 and Carmine ’29. ☘️ #ShamrockSpotlight

After graduating from St. Pat’s and earning a degree in Accountancy with High Honors from the University of Illinois, Pete spent 23 years with KPMG, including 12 years as an Audit Partner, before launching Mendes Consulting LLC. Today, Pete advises nonprofit organizations and business leaders on strategy, governance, and growth. Both standout student-athletes and NHS members, they’ve carried the values of leadership and discipline into successful careers in construction and development. Today, Rob serves as Senior VP at Pepper Construction, while Terry is VP at Related Midwest.
