VAR can tell us when a ball grazes a player’s hair, can call off a goal for a touch foul 100 yds from goal, and it can call off a goal when Haaland lightly shoves an opponent, but it can’t tell us when the ball hits a cable, leading directly to a goal?

Why are people having such a hard time accepting that Wembanyama made a mistake? I’ll give him that McDaniels was fouling him, but he put himself at the mercy of the officials with that elbow and cost his team the game. Seen too many people call it justified and it simply wasn’t

Idk if people at home saw what happened there between Finch and Tony Brothers, but the fact an NBA official charged at a head coach not once but twice looking for confrontation means that official a absolutely needs to take a seat and let the alternate take over.

VAR has been terrible in this game. They don’t even look at the first goal for Leeds after Yoro takes a forearm to the head and then they want to look at “violent conduct” on an incidental and also slight hair pull and give the red. No consistency.
