For years the Kubernetes rule was turn swap off.
The Kubernetes blog just tested node swap on NVMe. Sandboxed Python runtimes went from failing at 80 per node to 240.
Latency came from CPU, not swap. Fast local disk changes the maths.

8 Oct: Google Cloud Storage us-central1 write errors for 12h30m. Preliminary cause: a traffic sorting optimisation that exhausted backend nodes.
You cannot change-freeze your cloud provider. Owning the change calendar is an underrated reason to run your own metal.

We're now supplying dedicated Ethereum RPC + archive capacity through @routemesh.
Owned hardware, no shared tenancy, 3 availability zones in Manchester. On mainnet since 2017. RouteMesh handles routing so developers get one reliable endpoint.

Standard Chartered initiates coverage of Chainlink $LINK, forecasting a price of $200 by end of 2030
The bank sees Chainlink underpinning the tokenization trend, a market set to grow to $4 trillion by 2028
19,517 ETH into ethereum ETFs in a single day, 81,773 across the week
buying at that pace pulls ETH off the market faster than the network issues it, and staking what they hold shrinks the float further
thats a quiet supply squeeze that shows in price long after its underway
Ondo just launched tokenized stocks through DTCC entitlements, the same clearing rails banks use today
thats not a stock wrapper, thats plugged straight into the clearing layer
every tokenized asset needs infra running underneath it, that part never gets announced
Grayscale will pay ETF holders cash from ETH and SOL staking rewards, 2.67% and 6.10% gross
miss the attestations and the payout shrinks
holding the asset was the easy part. now the fund holds the uptime risk
Chainlink just put US macro data onchain, real GDP and PCE straight from the Commerce Department
the feed is only as good as the nodes behind it, now those nodes carry official government numbers
getting data onchain was the easy part, keeping the feed honest is the job
Solana says it just passed 300k real world asset holders, most of any chain
holders is the number that stresses infra, each one needs price feeds and settlement that clears every block
the milestone is the easy part, the load lands on whoever keeps validation running under it
DTCC ran its first live trades of tokenized US securities, 30+ institutions on it including BlackRock and JP Morgan
tokenizing was the easy part, the shift is the node layer underneath now feeding real bank settlements
crypto uptime and bank uptime arent the same bar
Anchorage turned on TRX staking for institutions, rewards without moving coins out of custody
the ask was never yield, it was staking that fits inside custody where keys dont leave
staking is becoming a custody feature, the work moves to who runs validators to that standard
Cambridge mapped 8,522 ethereum nodes, 64% run in cloud or enterprise facilities
the post merge energy win gets the headlines, the quieter shift is where validation lives, most of it isnt at home anymore
decentralised on paper, concentrated on infra
Robinhood Chain landed 5th by TVL in week one on 1B+ in DEX volume. renting volume is easy, the infra underneath doesnt spin up on hype.
real demand or mercenary TVL?
