SpaceX's V3 Super Heavy cut its grid fins from four to three, each 50% larger. Now @elonmusk says it "might" get down to two, using S-turns for the third axis of control. Here's how that could work.

The reason why @SpaceX went down to 3 grid fins on their Super Heavy booster is quite clever! But according to @elonmusk, they might even get it down to 2... which I guess we'll have to wait and see!

THIS WILL BE INCREDIBLE TO SEE!!! Flight 15 could feature the first DOUBLE CATCH! That's right! Both ship and booster could be caught. This obviously means it'd be an orbital mission again too, so this will easily be the most exciting mission to date! I can't wait!!!

15 years ago, @elonmusk envisioned fully reusable rockets as the key to making humanity multiplanetary. Today, Falcon 9 boosters have landed hundreds of times, and Super Heavy has been caught by its launch tower. Next up: fully reusable Starship. 🚀
