The problem with American soccer isn’t the lack of talent. It’s the lack of superstars that can change a game. We have a bunch of middle of the road guys that can compete, but nobody who can just take over like the Norway’s France and Argentina’s of the world.

Here is another example of why everyone wants to adjust the offside rule. Pulisic is called offside because is behind the defender. Why? The defender just stands there and lets him run uncovered to the goal. That is a disgrace to competition to reward laziness.

All of the soccer purists will say, of course he was offside because he was past the defender. The part you’re ignoring, and the part that we’re all frustrated about is that why is there a guy wide open in the middle of the field? The offside penalty is rewarding, bad defense.

This is a perfect example of why the offside penalty inside the box should not exist. It’s half a foot over the line. While everyone is so focused on that, we’re completely ignoring the fact that the defender whose back is to the guy isn’t even remotely close to cover him.

What’s more awkward? The lady just minding her business and Harper’s butt ends up in her face, or the fact that her husband is wishing that it was him?

The only reason that the Lakers didn’t lose the first two games by 30 and are even in this game right now is Rui Hachimura. He has literally been their life jacket for the most part.

I’m guessing you haven’t paid much attention to the news, but sports bars are dying regardless of streaming service services. People just don’t have as much interest in going out to those places as they did 10-15 years ago.
