Overall, Utah’s economy remains strong, with high workforce participation, job growth across a wide range of industries and a healthy unemployment rate. For August job growth came in at 1.2% and the unemployment rate is estimated at 3.5%. #UTecon #UTPol #UTBiz

Utah’s economy posted solid job growth and low unemployment in June. Over the past year, the state added 26,300 jobs, a growth rate of 1.5%, unemployment held low at 3.6%. In comparison, the national job growth for June was just 0.3% with an unemployment rate of 4.2%.
