Proud to represent our team @ #EHRA2024 with our study on temporal variability of the electromechanical window (EMW)!
🎯Our main finding: both EMW negativity and temporal variability are associated with ventricular tachyarrhythmias and aid risk prediction!

Karin Smits presenting preliminary Rome-Maastricht data indicating that LBBAP reduces markers for repolarization compared to BiVP, interestingly this repolarization dispersion reduction increases over time. #EHRA2024 #Berlin @kvernooy @edobressi @grieco @HermansBJM @JLuermans
📰It's great that as (clinical) #EPeeps, we are increasingly exploring local repolarization mapping! Still, thorough mechanistic and methodological considerations remain important.

Last Friday, I had the privilege of presenting some of our novel insights on electrical abnormalities in unexplained cardiac arrest to a public audience of patients and laypeople. Fantastic opportunity to share our insights and to interact with such an interested audience!
Thanks to @M_Cluitmans for allowing me to discuss some of his findings, and to Hart- en Vaatonderzoek Limburg for the opportunity
