Yesterday, we formally opened the Government Lodge in Wukari, also known as TY Danjuma House. Similarly, the lodge in Takum was also commissioned. The event was chaired by Taraba's General T.Y. Danjuma. #MovingForward

Today, I received Nduka Odizor, a Houston-based tennis player and Olympic Gold Medalist on a courtesy visit at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo. During our engagement, Nduka announced plans to establish a Tennis Academy in Taraba state with 60 other tennis players, providing a platform for young talents. Our administration will support Nduka and his team as they work towards actualising their vision in Taraba state. #MovingForward

In furtherance of Taraba's strategic development agenda, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed today between Taraba State and China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation [CCECC]. This strategic collaboration will focus on three critical sectors: energy development, infrastructure enhancement, and economic and food security – to drive the state's growth and advancement. Our strategic initiatives will leave an enduring legacy for future generations, which is why we are meticulous in setting our priorities. With CCECC as our new partner, we can broaden our road networks, modernize the transportation system, prudently manage natural resources, and propel the state's economy forward, ultimately serving the interests of the entire state. We acknowledge your enthusiasm for Taraba's development, and we are making strides through our people-centric policies and strategies, which will soon position Taraba as a leader in energy distribution. #MovingForward

Alongside members of the PDP Governors' Forum, I attended today's Grand Finale of the Edo Guber Election Rally in Oredo LG. With the people's strong conviction to vote for PDP's @Aighodalo, I am confident of an overwhelming win. The people of Edo State can rest assured of our party's victory next Saturday. I appeal to all advocates of true democracy, to vote and ensure their votes count. PDP! Power to the People! #EdoIsPDP

Today, Taraba State hosted the PDP Governors’ Forum at the Government House, in Jalingo. The Forum deliberated on crucial intra-party and governance matters affecting our States, as well as those of overriding National interest and importance. We reiterated amongst other things, that peaceful protests are the inalienable rights of the citizens through which they vent their genuine grievances. The Forum commiserates with the families of those innocent souls that were lost and calls on the Federal Government to ensure fair and speedy trial of those who were arrested. The Forum notes the political impasse in Rivers State where court judgements are employed to determine the outcome of the party congresses. The PDP Governors’ Forum restates its stand with the Governor of Rivers State and will engage the NWC of our great party to revisit the congress with a view to correcting the anomaly and allowing His Excellency Governor Siminalayi Fubara to take his rightful leadership position of the party in the state. #OneUnitedPDP #PDPGovernorsForum

Yesterday, I addressed our productive and vibrant Youths who joined the National #EndBadGovernanceProtest at the Government House in Jalingo. It was avenue to appreciate their candour in the conduct of the protest in Taraba State. As a government, we will continue to do our best regardless of the limited resources available, by prioritizing issues that will develop our economy and the younger population. They are the future and we have to secure the future, NOW. I have listened to their grievances over the hunger and suffering in the land - may I state clearly, that our administration will work assiduously in changing the living conditions in Taraba State. I have met with some Youth Leaders, telling them of our plans for the young people of Taraba State. We have started and it will be gradual but consistent. #MovingForward
