Things are a bit up and down again; the same with her bloods 🤯. Leonie has only been managing to eat minimal amounts of food since her spinal surgery. Whatever she does manage to eat, it's throwing it out, one way or another. She's also got a very sore area which is being treated with creams & Atrauman mesh. Another new sponge drain was fitted today on her surgical wound. Another change in the antibiotics, based on the results after the blood thinner is administered. Another for a week, then change again. It's such a long process for Leonie to recover from this & try to clear the E. coli/Sepsis out of her body. She has been utterly remarkable in dealing with all this. I'm left extremely worried because the E.Coli can start multiplying again back into Sepsis. This is what everyone involved is trying to stop, so as not to open her back up & then start to clean the metalwork; this is risky again for her for many reasons. Her body is very weak and losing nearly 2 stone in 5 weeks is shocking. Please share. #TeamLeonie 💔💪🏼 #SpinalHealth #Sepsis #Ecoli

In 1997, At Elizabeth Taylor’s 65th birthday celebration, Michael graced the stage with a song he wrote and performed once “Elizabeth, I Love You.”
It was a thank you between two people who both knew what it cost to be sold as a child star and then expected to keep shining. He sang about Hollywood taking her youth and selling it for gold, about the ones who started beside her and vanished, and about the friend who stayed when the whole room emptied.

These two beautiful girls, aged 11 and 8, have recently come into our care as unclaimed strays.
Sadly, they now find themselves needing a new home in their golden years, when they should be enjoying the comfort and security they deserve.
They are a bonded pair, and we are really hoping to find a loving home where they can stay together.
Don’t let their ages fool you! These friendly girls still have plenty of life in them. Typical terriers, they love exploring on walks, having a play and, of course, a lovely cuddle.
Their rehoming requirements;
To be rehomed together- they are a bonded pair
Suitable for first time dog owners
I may be suitable to live with older dog savvy children depending on introductions. We love to play, however as we’re older dogs we’d prefer a quieter home
Not suitable to live with cats

The blood results have also come back that Leonie’s liver has a problem, Her stomach is sloshing?? & her right lung is weaker than the left. Whether this is due to the twisted spine crushing these organs, they won't know yet. She is going down for a scan to see what’s going on. It could have been the pressure of her spine pushing on Leonie’s organs. Then they will start tube feeding Leonie. Depending on what is found after the scan, Leonie’s surgeon will be called. The physios did manage to get Leonie hoisted in her chair for 10 minutes, but it was too much for her. Leonie needs oxygen at night now when she falls asleep it is still dropping extremely low, when her body relaxes. Every donation helps Leonie: justgiving.com/campaign/team…

Police urgently need your help to find a missing 15-year-old Northampton girl.
Valerija was last seen in Northampton just before 7.45pm last night (Saturday, September 27).
She was wearing dark blue jeans, and a black Hoodrich hoodie.
Valerija is described as 5ft 4in, slim, with dark brown hair in a ponytail.
If you have seen Valerija or have information about where she is, please call Northamptonshire Police on 999, quoting missing person reference MPN4/3317/26.
A teenage boy seriously assaulted a girl.
People immediately reminded everyone that he was young and had his whole life ahead of him.
The girl was also young.
She also had her whole life ahead of her.
But somehow his age became a reason to protect his future, while hers became something she was expected to recover from.
We need to stop treating a boy's potential as more important than a girl's trauma.
