This new positive proves the need for self-isolation after arrival rather than just relying on testing on arrival for cases such as this who clearly became infected in day or two before travelling or during their journey....hope both cases recover quickly and without complication

We now have 2 (known) active cases of COVID-19 in the Bailiwick as one new case has been found. The new case tested on arrival and was negative, became symptomatic in isolation and then tested positive. Please go to covid19.gov.gg/test-results for the latest COVID-19 test results.
