El Mediterráneo está ardiendo. Y no es una metáfora.
Arriba — temperatura del agua (14 ago). Prácticamente todo el mar está en tonos rojos: 28-30 °C generalizados y unos impresionantes 31-32 °C en amplias zonas del Mediterráneo occidental, Tirreno y Mediterráneo central.
Abajo — categoría de ola de calor marina (13 ago). Aquí está lo grave. No es solo que el agua esté caliente: está muchísimo por encima de lo normal para estas fechas.
🟧 Fuerte (II) 🟥 Severa (III) ⬛ Extrema (IV)
El Mediterráneo occidental —Baleares, golfo de León, mar de Liguria, Tirreno— aparece cubierto de rojo oscuro y negro: olas de calor marinas de categoría severa y extrema. La cuenca entera está en alerta.
En los últimos años hemos demostrado con varios estudios cómo un mar cálido es capaz de dar un potencial más destructivo a las tormentas que se forman en esta época del final del verano/principios del otoño.
Un mar de 30-32 °C en agosto ya no es una anomalía puntual. Es el patrón que se está repitiendo verano tras verano. El Mediterráneo se está convirtiendo en otro mar.

My mind is blown by the accuracy of the summary, the human voices, the banter, and the conversation. 🤯🤯
I gave it an 1,814 page CFPB Examination and Supervision Manual - one of the most boring topics for most.
It consumed those 1,800+ pages (imagine the context window size) and spit out a great conversation in a few mins.
I can’t distinguish it from a real podcast, it actually is than the ones out there.
I can’t imagine what the next 12 months will bring us.
