San Francisco teachers have my full support in their strike
The average cost of living in SF is *so high* that someone earning less than $109K a year is considered low income
Avg SFUSD teacher salary is less than that, leading to burnout, teachers leaving, & large class sizes

Here’s a thread of MAGA accounts getting exposed for being outside of the United States… starting here. EUROPE!

Democrats, DO NOT CAVE TO TRUMP! A “promise” from MAGA to vote on ACA subsidies means absolutely nothing. We want the gov to open but not at the expense of working people’s health care.

Senate Democrats,
So you're going to trust the Republican party to do something on ACA subsidies when they have not done anything on health care in a DECADE?
That's your genius plan?
To cave now - get nothing - but a promise from people who NEVER honor their promises.
WTF???
Replying to @LisaDNews
There are 11, maybe more Sen Dems who have been eager for an off-ramp.
This deal would mean NO gains on ACA subsidies, not even (it seems) a guaranteed vote on extending them.
Tonight's vote will not seal the shutdown deal - but if it passes, will be hard to reverse.

Senate Dems, do not cave. Ensuring healthcare premiums don’t surge is an 80-20 issue. They want to gut the ACA because their disdain for Obama far outweighs their concern for anyone’s health.

Don’t you cave! As my California senator I am counting on you! Tell @SenSchumer to hold the line! Make this shutdown count! Get that one year extension on the ACA.

There’s schools in New Mexico open 4 days a week bc they can’t afford Friday. Schools in Baltimore close when it’s too hot bc they cant afford AC. In whole counties in South Dakota people die a decade before everyone else. But there’s always money for bombs. Alway money for bombs
The House budget would rip away health care, food, & child care from millions — just to shower trillions on billionaires. @repzoelofgren, moms and families are watching. VOTE NO on the reconciliation bill. #FamiliesOverBillionaires #MomsForMedicaid

Donald Trump is the most unpopular 100-day-mark president in modern American history.

Psst…those 1950s manufacturing jobs Trump loves so much?
They were good jobs because they were UNION jobs.
Oh...and taxes on corporations and the rich were much higher.
Trump’s agenda won’t bring back the “Golden Age.”
It’ll make the rich richer at everyone else's expense.

personally would like to see every store show what part of the price increase is due to tariffs bc if these tariffs ever come down, i need to see that price go right back down

I want politics to be about a better everyday life.
Here's what that can look like:

Learnt today that you can type any nonsense into Google followed by "meaning", and AI will assume you're searching a well-known human phrase and frantically come up with what it thinks it could mean.

If Democrats want to regain trust, it starts with consistency. Show up year-round, not just in election season. Knock doors. Fight for real wages. Pass policy that changes lives, then talk about it like it matters. People respect action, not slogans.

Amazing. In *two* minutes, Pete Buttigieg got Andrew Shulz to see why government research is necessary.
That is why these conversations matter. A lot of the hosts & audience would never hear a message like this one. But when they do, it makes sense.
