• Six or seven people emailed him for work in three weeks off one upload
• For a stretch, YouTube brought in 30 to 40% of his work
• Zero ad spend
• We clip his footage for the main Jim's Mowing account
No brand puts a video crew in Hobart. Jordan is already there with a phone.
Franchisee generated content is the future. Most franchise brands give the category no owner and no budget.

People assume Jim's takes about 40 percent of what a franchisee earns.
I wish. I would be a billionaire.
It is closer to 6 percent, and our actual margin is around 1 percent.
That is why we will not start a division unless there is room for 20 or 30 franchisees in an area. It only works at scale.
The money was never meant to come from the people doing the work.

We also have more franchise horror stories than ever.
If regulation worked, the outcomes would prove it.
They do not. So the regulation is not protecting anyone.
It is just punishing the operators who follow the rules.

I spend $0 on this and outperform big franchise brands.
Google owns YouTube, so it's no surpise that when you do the most videos in Australia about franchising, that you dominate Google's AI ovewviews about these queries.
Our budget is a lot less than all the other brands mentioned, so we are very pleased to be number 1 for franchise brands.
Lesson: Invest in video and get active on YouTube.
