Dear @AnnieAndrewsMD: I just voted for you, but when I went to check the ballot, your name had been switched with the libertarian candidate. I don’t think it was user error, but I can’t prove it. I was able to go back and change it after that. But keep an ear out, because if other people are having a similar experience, it’s not an accident.
To my friends in the UK would you be willing to pay this license fee if it meant you could still watch your favorite podcasts?
The UK could soon require people to pay an annual TV licence just to watch platforms like Netflix and YouTube.
The £180 ($240) yearly fee already applies to live TV and BBC iPlayer, but the government is considering expanding the rules to cover streaming services too.
No final decision has been made yet.

Jalen Hurts was told by doctors not to sleep after his initial diagnosis of a superficial blood clot while in London.
Hurts stayed awake for roughly 36 hours before starting against the Jaguars.

The shooter attempted to enter through the front door of the school but was stopped by two people. He then ran to the back door and blew open the lock with his gun.
He ran straight for his former special-needs classroom and opened fire, killing three small children and a teacher. He also injured a 57-year-old teacher and shot a 7-year-old child in a wheelchair in the face. That child is now in critical condition.
The gun was given to Griffin (the shooter) by his mother in August. She previously described him (when he was 10) as a special needs student.
He’s where he belongs. Mother should be charged.

The mother of the Silver Rail Elementary School shooter knew her son suffered from mental/behavioral problems.Yet she buys a shotgun and apparently did not have it secured. She's just as responsible for those children, teacher and her son's life.

The shooter in the Bend, Oregon elementary school shooting is identified as John C Griffin.
The gun used was purchased by his mother, Shauntai May Nickerson for his birthday next month. Griffin had previously been enrolled in specialized program at the school for students experiencing intensive behavioral and social skills challenges…and his mother bought him a double-barrel pump action shotgun for his birthday.
She needs to be in prison.
