We need people to challenge the status quo. We need a population that refuses to tolerate propaganda, rationalizations, or cover-ups. People who are willing to stand up and say, "This is not right. I won't be a part of it." We need you to say it.

0-4 is a record. “We’re an 0-4 team” is an identity. Idaho entered this game winless against No. 1 Montana State. With one second left, they scored a touchdown, went for two, and won 35-34. Your record tells you what has happened. Your identity helps decide what happens next. Keep the record in the standings. Keep it out of your identity.

The San Diego Section has lost a tremendous leader, and many of us are mourning the loss of a lifelong friend. To Joe’s family, we thank you for sharing such an incredible man with all of us and for allowing us the privilege of working alongside him.

This week, at age 83, Tommy John passed away. One of my favorite people I profiled in The Obstacle Is the Way.
