Significant. WSP chief said the driver that hit Trooper Guting stopped and was cooperative. Tacoma PD (independent investigators) say someone in a second vehicle hit her while she was down.

“Critical incident” involving a Washington State Patrol trooper on Highway 509 in Tacoma. Initial reports of a trooper, or their vehicle being hit … but WSP won’t confirm details yet. It doesn’t sound good. Expecting a briefing overnight.

While covering weather in Skagit County, we heard about a landslide in the 7200 block of Lake Shannon Road. We ascended the dark, winding, muddy mountain road but turn around about a half mile before the slide due to these conditions. Level 2 “Get Set” evacuation in place.

Philip Rivers is about to regret every minute of his life. I think the Seahawks are overrated and have no chance of any meaningful playoff run… but they’re gonna make him regret his decision so bad. Gonna be ugly at the Kingdome.
