Yesterday the Massachusetts Gaming Commission announced revenue numbers will be released on Tuesday, with an agenda item regarding the Encore strike on 10/22. “My expectation is that we will see a negative impact on revenues,” said MGC Commission Chair Jordan Maynard.

Over 1000 workers at Boston's Encore hotel are ON STRIKE!
Worker's are demanding better wages, better contracts and the respect they deserve. Encore is one of Boston's few 5-star hotels and their workers need a 5-star contract.

@EncoreResortBH can make Everett a city where everyone wins, by investing their earnings in the workers who have made the casino a Forbes 5-Star property for 5 consecutive years. Employees should be able to afford to live & raise their families near where they work!

Another clear example of why workers do better bargaining collectively than if they depend on the kindness of the boss.
MIT dining workers have ratified their new contract. In 2029, MIT cooks will make at least $41/hour. We deserve better at Harvard, the wealthiest university in the world! #WhenWeFightWeWin

Thank you for breaking it down -- most people would not be able to last a week, much less decades, doing these difficult jobs at sports stadiums. @Aramark workers at @fenwaypark deserve raises & respect!

Whenever there are people asking for better pay, there seem to be people who wil say these jobs are for kids and first timers, as if those people are not doing a full time job that is hard.
$12 an hour in Boston is criminal.
Aramark! PAY YOUR WORKERS WHAT THEY'RE WORTH!!
📢📢 We’re loud, we’re proud, & we’re out on strike to win a fair contract at America’s favorite ballpark! Thank you @RonDurk for your support! #unionpride 🌈

Don’t buy a hotdog from inside the ballpark while Fenway workers are ON STRIKE! The best dog today is walking the picket line with their person.

ATTENTION RED SOX FANS: Food and beer workers are currently ON STRIKE @fenwaypark. For the entire @RedSox vs @Dodgers homestand, we’re asking you to NOT buy concessions inside the ballpark. Tailgate before the games!

“This isn’t just a labor issue. It’s a community issue. It’s about whether the people who serve the hot dogs, pour the beer, and welcome the fans can afford to keep living in the city we love.”

Boston is a union town - we don't cross picket lines. Pay the @UNITEHERE26 workers at Fenway and MGM what they're worth! @Aramark @RedSox
Pay Fenway concession workers what they deserve. It's not complicated.
