Someone who looks at this and thinks
“Burn it”
Doesn’t belong in Western civilisation.
I can't imagine how this will work. Kids don't have brokerage accounts in which to accept a stock share. Even if they do have some way to accept the share, the parent(s) can just sell it. What if the parent(s) use the money to buy drugs? It's an unworkable idea.

To usłyszeli ode mnie liderzy Europy w Brukseli.

Trump is closing strong:
1. Hire unqualified press secretary who doesn't last a week
2. Announce public execution, then walk it back
3. Conduct pre-dawn raid on opposition congresswoman over paperwork from 1995 while allowing your crooked Ambassador to Greece to resign without charges
4. Float possibility of using "Mother Of All Bombs" in your unpopular war (that you've previously declared already "won" on many occasions)
5. Cut a too-little/too late/possibly-illegal deal to import Russian diesel to offset negative effects of said war
6. Get caught secretly raising $333 million from corporations and billionaires for your White House ballroom, including companies doing major business with your administration
7. Mock a woman wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt while she gets punched at your rally
8. Preemptively blame your outgoing senator for a Texas Senate seat you haven’t lost yet
9. Use a San Antonio rally, with diesel at $6.28 a gallon, to renew your demand that Roger Clemens be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame

🚨BREAKING: This new chart from @TheStudyofWar overlays Ukraine’s strikes on Russian refineries with the price of diesel fuel. There is NO CORRELATION between strikes on Russian refineries and spikes in the price of diesel here in the U.S. They are not driving up prices here.

Elon Musk flips a vehicle upside down and everyone claps and cheers. But when I do it, suddenly I'm "recklessly endangering children" and "unfit to be a school bus driver".
I'm now having the same feeling about Trump that I had about Biden: I'm not sure he's going to make to the end of his term. His judgement and decision-making are deteriorating. Republicans are finally, rightly criticizing him. I just don't see the country enduring two more years of Trump. Maybe a saner Trump will emerge after the mid-terms? We can only hope.

Van and I agree — live streaming the execution would make the terrorist a martyr. Trump would be right to reverse Hegseth on this and it would show excellent judgment on his part. The radical Islamic terrorist deserves the punishment but not the martyrdom.

Absolutely dying at this exchange. Read it all the way through. It *perfectly* captures the mental gymnastics of MAGA nativists. Detached from basic reality.

Attention Young Men:
I am surrounded by 20 year old girls in my life that are smart, capable, hard working and cute. Nobody is dating them. Not sure what the deal is, but I don’t get it.
Step 1: Stop playing video games
Step 2: Head to great clips and get that lettuce cleaned up
Step 3: Hit a shower (when dating hygiene is critical)
Step 4: Go clean your car
Step 5: Sign up for a yoga class
Step 6: Go to the yoga class
Step 7: Ask a cute for her phone number at yoga class (yes you can meet girls IRL and not just on the apps - 10/10 the Dirt Dog highly recommends)
Step 8: Follow up within 2 days with a phone call and ask them out for this coming weekend Friday or Saturday night.
Step 9: IMPORTANT - come up with a good game plane for date night. Get a dinner reservation, get an activity planned. Let them know in advance what you are doing so they can dress appropriately. I know you are gunna roll off the couch and head to date night, but they are not. They are going to stress about what to wear and call at least 6 different people on FaceTime to ask their opinion.
Step 10: I highly recommend you bring flowers to the door step. I’m not covering that you go to the doorstep, because if you don’t do that you have no hope here. Women want men to date them. You don’t need to break the bank on flowers. Head to Trader Joe’s. Grab 2 different kinds of flowers. If you don’t know what matches find the closest looking lady to your mom at TJ’s and ask her. Wrap the 2 flowers into 1 bouquet with paper. Bonus Points you can cut open a TJ bag and use that as the paper.
Step 11: Be a gentleman on the date. She isn’t there to hear your life story. Ask her about her. For every 1 question you answer, ask her 3. Open Doors, pay for the meal, be polite.
Provided you follow most of this guideline you are highly likely to get yourself an opportunity for date number 2.
Keep going until you find someone that you can’t imagine not being around all the time. That’s when you have found a good one for you.
My life is complete with my wife as my companion. I wish you the same fortune in life. Happy Hunting.
Marco was right. Marco still is right.
Stop importing Russian oil
Start producing more American oil again
That’s the plan

The more time I spend on X, the more convinced I become that America's gravest national crisis may be the failure of its public education system.
The sheer inability to reason, distinguish facts from opinions, recognize contradictions, or understand basic economics is staggering.
And the most alarming part is how confidently so many people demonstrate it.
I don’t get this vulgar invective. As expected, the pope is pro-life in all situations. Isn’t that a conservative position? How in the world would that make him a liberal? And even if one disagrees with his position, why not make a reasoned counter argument rather than vitriol?

I am about to say something marginally political. Brace yourselves. 😎
I am a native Californian and a political independent. Here in California we have a Democrat governor, a Democrat super majority in the state legislature, and every major city has a Democrat mayor. And every election cycle every single poll reveals a majority of voters think the state is heading in the wrong direction. And yet we keep putting Democrats in office. California’s problems are all about policy. Period. You can’t blame “the other guy“ for the absolute horror that exists in our metro areas, or a budget that has collapsed due to the unrestrained funding of undocumented immigrants. It is the Dems fault and they need to own it. And perhaps we need to give someone else a shot at this. Just saying.

We've been seeing a lot of these types of posts over the past few days. So we put this together as an explainer.
Now keep in mind that we (US_OGA) are the small companies that produce oil and gas - not the big boys that are fully integrated and produce, transport and run refineries. We don't do that. We just pull it out of the ground and sell it to whoever will buy it.
But those other guys are bad at explaining things because they have comms teams that are scared of their own shadows so we have to do if for them sometimes.
That won't keep some of you from yelling at us. So be it.
But yelling at us is like yelling at a farmer for the price of a box of cereal.
But here you go. This might answer some of these questions.
Trying to understand this…
In 2008, oil climbed to about $143 a barrel and gas was roughly $4.10 per gallon.
Today, oil is closer to $94 a barrel, but gas is around $4.38 per gallon.
Crude oil has fallen significantly, but prices at the pump don’t seem to reflect that difference.
What factors are keeping gas prices high?
