Do we need a Fin-Syn rerun? Nope. "It’s a bad proposal with an understandable constituency." @raylehmann's latest piece for Truth on the Market 🎥

“Rent controls encourage landlords to delay upkeep” isn’t exactly a strong endorsement of the system?
The Wall Street Journal wants you to believe that rent stabilized apartments are sitting vacant because landlords can’t afford to repair apartments.
The truth is that these landlords delay repairs for years and decades, and are now trying to force New York to let them rent at market value so they can make more money.
We broke it down.

Had a blast climbing with my friends from @NATEsafety yesterday! Big thanks to everyone who came out to brave the rain and experience the work America's tower climbers do EVERY DAY (rain or shine!) to keep our communities connected.
and a huge thank you to @sbasite for making this climb a safe event every year!

This is way harder than it looks; still mad I had to follow @JamesCz19 and @KelceeGriffis last year.
Most Senate staffers work incredibly hard with limited resources at their disposal. Giving them access to the same tools as the folks in the industries they help regulate makes sense to me!

A great event and unique because we brought several data center builders to the briefing. They were able to talk directly to hill staffers about their experiences in the field and share their perspective on the policy discourse.
Thank you @NATEsafety for facilitating this opportunity.
Today at the Rayburn House Office Building, Build American AI Executive Director @NathanLeamerDC, @tschlek of NATE, and @CJohnsonAELI of the American Energy Leadership Institute came together to discuss the jobs, energy investment and local business opportunities behind America’s AI buildout.
The AI reindustrialization of America is building more power, creating good jobs, and giving young people more opportunities to build a career close to home.
If I don't make it back down, see to it that the toy monster trucks are divided equally among my children.

Another good reminder that the antitrust crusade against tech companies was always just about opening the door to micromanaging the rest of the economy.
Hellmann's mayo
McCormick spices
Cholula hot sauce
Frank's RedHot
What do these products have in common? One company could soon control them all.
I have concerns that McCormick and Unilever's $45 billion merger could increase YOUR grocery prices.
Worthwhile read from ICLE Senior Scholar @MZunigaP 👇
Mario Zuniga has a good piece this morning on anti-tech bias in the EU’s guidelines on exclusionary practices. Will the Brussels effect spread this bias to other jurisdictions? truthonthemarket.com/2026/10…

Senator Sullivan is a tireless advocate for expanding affordable, high-speed Internet to every part of Alaska.
Today, the FCC announced that we will vote on providing an additional $162 million in support for rural broadband in Alaska.
I look forward to working with @SenDanSullivan to get the job done.
I know it has been well-documented by journalists like @victoriaregisk... but it bears repeating that the self-serve froyo machine in the Dirksen basement is truly a gift to the world's greatest deliberative body. Most reasonably priced treat in DC!

Three of these (including the only two that are actually competitors) are already owned by the same company (McCormick). So the question is really whether it would be a problem for two hot sauces and a spice line to be owned by a company that also makes mayonnaise.
Uhh, no?
