After making the original Short, I came across the article “Dear WNBA: Caitlin Clark Would Never Say This, So We Will.” Reading it and the heartfelt letters from fans inspired me to make something more.
Instead of writing another letter, I decided to make mine a song and a video.
A letter to Iowa. To Hawkeye Nation. To the kids waving from the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. And to everyone who makes this place special.

I had AI look at gas prices over the past 30 years and the historical pattern is unmistakable.
Gas prices have been higher when democrats are in power.
From 1996 through 2025, regular gasoline averaged $3.54 per gallon in inflation-adjusted dollars under Democratic presidents, compared with $3.36 under Republican presidents.
When Democrats controlled both the House and Senate, the difference was even greater: gasoline averaged $4.13 per gallon, compared with $3.30 during all other years, or roughly 25% higher.
So if you are concerned about the cost of gas prices, why would you vote for the party that has a 30 year history of increasing gas prices?

For the average Minnesotan, it comes down to this: higher taxes, higher fees, more regulations and mandates, with no clear new benefit in return. Much of the increased spending goes to special-interest projects. Even roads and infrastructure—things taxpayers already pay for—are now partly tied to climate and driving-reduction goals that can limit highway expansion, require projects to be redesigned, and make meeting future transportation needs more difficult.

My problem with Women’s USA Basketball staff/coaching is that they’re refusing to accept the obvious.
We’ve watched every game. We’ve seen who the best players have been. We’ve seen which lineups are the most effective. And we’ve seen this team come dangerously close to losing a couple of games.
At this point, in my opinion, pride is getting in the way of winning.
No basketball team on Earth should have its most effective unit coming off the bench while playing fewer minutes than the worst lineup. If a lineup is consistently giving you the best results, PLAY THEM.
This is Team USA. The goal should be winning, not protecting egos, reputations, or roles.
