Starship Troopers, 1997. Starring Casper Van Dien, Denise Richards, Michael Ironside. Rated R. My #IMDb rating: 9/10. An adrenaline rush from beginning to end, this unique movie is one of the few movies I've watched over and over. The presentation is outrageous and a lot of fun.

Snakes on a Plane, 2006. Starring Samuel L Jackson. Rated R. My #IMDb rating: 4/10. Everything exciting and funny you can see in the trailer. Had potential but came up short. The irony of watching it on a flight from the Philippines to the USA didn't even help much.

Enola Holmes, 2020. Starring Millie Bobby Brown. Rated PG-13. My #IMDb rating: 8/10. An enjoyable movie for the entire family. It is something different but a lot of fun watching Enola solve clues to find her missing mother.

Slumdog Millionaire, 2008. Rated R. My @IMDb rating: 10/10. I had no desire to watch this movie and did so only to see why others were saying they liked it so much. I’m glad I listened to them because this is one of the best movies I have ever watched. A must-see!

Minions: The Rise of Gru, 2022. Starring Gru & the minions. Rated PG. My IMDb rating: 8/10. This groovy movie is out of sight & fun for the entire family. Set in the 1970’s, the laughs are plentiful, the music funky, and the afros huge. Step out of your crib and go see this one.

The Siege of Jadotville, 2016. Rated TV-MA. My IMDb rating: 8/10. Excellent movie about Irish soldiers in the Congo during the early 1960’s as they face off with Belgian and French mercenaries. Plenty of intense action and based on real events. Don’t miss this one.

First Blood, 1982. Starring Sylvester Stallone. Rated R. My IMDb rating: 10/10. An excellent movie that I’ve watched more times than any other. The pacing is fast, the action plentiful, and it was the one that introduced the world to John Rambo. Highly recommend!
