State track and field, Class 4A: Nursing a balky hamstring, Linn-Mar's Abby Mecklenburg passes on her final four jumps. Before that, though, she was good enough to win her third straight state long jump title. thegazette.com/sports/high-s… #iahstrk

Abby Mecklenburg not at her best, but still more than good enough

DES MOINES — Even at less than her best, Abby Mecklenburg was better than everybody else.

Annual bridge walk to wrap up day one! One of our favorite traditions that we’ve built over the years. These are the team bonding memories that kids leave our program missing!

Lots to be proud of with the shuttle team. Not the result they wanted, but the squad is young and ready for next season.
