It was a pleasure to deliver this talk (even with a bad case of strep throat, which was officially diagnosed this morning). I learned as much from the audience’s comments as I hope they learned from me!
Thank you @Malka_Simkovich for a fascinating exploration of early Jewish writings, libraries, and attitudes toward sacred texts. #AJLCon23

Ever since @RachelLeketMor began publishing the journal as #OpenAccess and digitized & archived all of the back issues, I've consulted the back issues for my own presentations. They are a treasure trove of information for researchers into #JudaicaLibrarianship. @JewishLibraries

Soon #AJLCon23 will be over. The virtual conference was amazing, and I have a lot of take aways. I am very appreciative of all the hard work the Conference Committee put into organizing this conference and every individual deserves a round of applause. Kol ha-kavod!!

This was a most informative session. Working to save / preserve / bring together Jewish cultural heritage is oftentimes a true labour of love and its the case here with these projects in the ex-yugoslav countries. Let's amplify their work so we can help them achieve their goals
The last day at #AJLCon23 and this morning we're learning about the library and archives collection of the Jewish community of the ex-Yugoslav countries. The 1st presentation by Biljana Albahari (@libraryofserbia) is on collections which continue to operate today @JewishLibraries
