4 reasons this is the best market of all time for private jet manufacturers:
1. Residual values and liquidity are perfect. No better pitch for a new jet than "it barely depreciates and you can resell it tomorrow"
2. Upgrades are easier. The G650 you bought in 2020 is worth almost the same today. Moving into a new G800 now costs ~$20M out of pocket instead of $40M, amortized over 15 years.
3. Pre-owned inventory is scarce. The secondary market is challenging without good access.
4. They have leverage. Delivery timelines are 2-4 years out. There's less pressure to move product or make concessions unless you're switching brands or know the levers.
