I've been cleaning up my apartment a lot lately. Today I uncovered my book of songs I had written during the pandemic. I've never been able to figure out music production on my own. Never actually produced an original. And I still don't really know how to. It's a bit frustrating knowing I only have half of products here, that I'd love to turn into something real one day, but I don't really know how to. I'd really love one day to be able to share these. Maybe one day I'll figure it out. One way or another, they mean something to me, and that's nice to hold onto even just like that.

Oh I also have uninstalled twitter and am only using it on PC now for specific purposes so I stop scrolling. So if I don't have a lot of activity here that would be why 👉👉

It's been a really weird year. I know content wise things have been lacking for me this summer. We're about to get through august without any streams, but I'm happy one way or another with how my time has been spent.

I am hoping to get back to my first solo stream next week 💥💚💥 Lots to talk about and share with y'all. Thank you for being patient, and thanks to everyone that's stayed active in the discord. Seeing everyone around despite being gone for so long has been really heartwarming.

The internet is a place where no one knows what they're talking about, everyone thinks they're right, and there's next to no consequences for being wrong. It's exhausting and mentally draining. If you are capable of touching grass, do it. Please. Your gd body and mind needs it.

My voice is improving, but I still need an insane amount of water to talk without my voice starting to scratch. Thank you to the folks who have tuned into the few TTS streams I've done. It's not optimal, but I'm trying to do something at least. Everything is still on hold right now and I'm doing my best to do what I can.

It's been rough not being able to use my voice for literally weeks now. In the meantime I have: - tidied my apartment and started some living space projects I was putting off - done some writing/world building - played way too much Peggle - started reading again - COOKED MORE

Five days of not talking. This SUCKS. I beg of this to heal sooner. I'm most productive when I'm yapping 😭

May-June was a very intensive time in using my voice. I didn't take enough time between things to rest and recover, and I pushed it more than I should have. After stream yesterday I knew there was definitely something off. Docs have told me I need an extended period of vocal rest, so for a very minimum of a week I can't do anything using my voice. This also means I'll be pushing back my Subadonothon. I won't set a new date until I am safe and confident that I can return for an intensive event like that. I'm sorry I didn't look after myself enough and that I won't be able to deliver it by the time I expected to as a result. The return date is very up in the air. It could be 2 weeks it could be more. All I can do now is take care of myself and get some quiet work done in the background. I might do a silly tts stream if I really feel the urge to stream while I'm away. No VA, no streams, no singing is gonna suck, but it's only temporary, so I'm just going to look forward to being able to howl for y'all again soon 💥💚💥

Audio mixer/engineer folks: When you edit together the audio for a video project with dialogue, SFX, and music what software are you using? Do you use multiple? Is it possible/practical to do it in the video editing software while making it sound its best?

Started playing the OG Final Fantasy off stream for myself and it made me realize how great playing games for myself offline is. It gives me more to yap about with chat. Maybe now I can feel a bit less guilty for enjoying myself in my downtime because I know it helps with streams

I've taken a few days break since the Rainbow Rat Parade which came right off the tail of multiple other events. We're back to regular stream time today, but I'm also going to spend my week planning the routine I'd really like for myself and plans going forward. And then it'll be time for the annual Summer Subadonothon.
