Dense air defence network (that means orders for dozens and dozens of regiments of Kusha, Akash NG, QR SAM), dense satellite based ISR in Indian subcontinent and IOR region and a functioning rocket force armed with Brahmos, LRLACM, LRAshM, Pralay etc is the only thing which can deter china.
