Most people think of the chronically ill as weak, but it takes a lot of strength to handle life while fighting great physical battles daily.
I keep thinking there is not enough time in the day to do all I need to do. But there's probably enough time... there's just not enough energy.

If you’re obeying God and seeing little fruit, don’t give up.
You may not see the marriage changing yet.
You may not see your children responding yet.
You may not see the person you’re praying for coming to Christ yet.
You may not see the fruit of your faithfulness at all.
But your responsibility is obedience … The results belong to God.
Keep praying.
Keep preaching.
Keep serving.
Keep forgiving.
Keep fighting sin.
Keep doing what God has commanded.
Faithfulness is never wasted when you’re faithful to a sovereign God.
The jumpers started at 8:46.
Networks had the tape. They hid Americans choosing the air over the fire.
Then they spent 25 years treating the word Islam like a crime. The footage was “too graphic.” The truth was forbidden.
This day is stamped in my heart forever...

—Jam. 1:12
Some trials don’t end quickly. But God calls the one who endures them blessed.
Keep going.
Keep trusting.

The Lord uses trials to strengthen endurance, deepen dependence upon Him, & sanctify us.
What feels unseen to you is fully seen by God.”

David wasn’t delivered from every threatening circumstance. He was delivered from the fear that those circumstances had power over him.
The same God who met David in the darkness meets us there too. His presence is greater than our fear.

“In the hands of a loving God, sorrow and suffering become the doorways into the greatest and most indestructible joys.”
— David Powlison
A profound reminder that God doesn’t waste our suffering. In His hands, even our deepest sorrows can become pathways to joy.
Not the best quality picture, but still one of my favorite photos of us. Just a normal day of being their mom. Nothing else I would rather be doing with my life. They are such blessings 💕

![Chronic illness truths
I get such a wide range of symptoms, I struggle to know when to just accept something as a new symptom or whether I should be seeing my doctor about it.
