What does the curve of our planet actually look like? 🌍
This stunning shot was taken during an astronaut's spacewalk. It captures the true boundary between the familiar world of Earth and the silent, infinite expanse of the Universe—a sight that takes your breath away.

Trump is a russian asset.
A russian oligarch close to Putin secretly paid for Donald Trump Jr.’s lavish wedding celebration.
Umar Kremlev paid for major parts of the three-day celebration in the Bahamas, including renting a private island and an elaborate fireworks show.
Kremlev is the head of the International Boxing Association, an organization financed by russia’s state-owned Gazprom. Putin himself awarded Kremlev russia’s Order of Friendship just one month before the wedding.
And Kremlev wasn’t alone. A group of russians attended the celebration alongside roughly 50 of Trump Jr.’s closest friends and family. The russian contingent included executives connected to russia’s defense and energy industries. Yet their presence was largely absent from the social-media photos and videos documenting the celebration.
Perhaps the most remarkable part is the response. Trump Jr.’s spokesman did not dispute that Kremlev paid the expenses. Instead, he described Kremlev as a “personal friend of Don.” Kremlev’s office likewise acknowledged that the two have a “friendly relationship.”
Does anyone still have a shred of doubt that Trump is a russian asset?!

🕊 The missing Twin Towers returned to New York for a few minutes
A light show was held on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
The drones first rose into the night sky in a spiral, then formed the outlines of the destroyed World Trade Center towers.
The installation used 2,977 drones — one for each person killed in the attacks.

Almost 25 years on from September 11, 2001, a drone display using 2,977 drones has recreated the Twin Towers, each representing a life lost in the attacks.

When 1990s "Terminator" Sci fi becomes our present day reality!
Gov'ts must act immediate to prevent a catastrophic outcome for humanity!
Jacob Coxon is not alone: AI Superintelligence is an Existential Threat to Humanity
Recently, Jacob Coxon, a former researcher at Anthropic and OpenAI, sent shockwaves throughout the world by stating, “The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade.”
Incredibly, in less than 48 hours, Mr. Coxon’s social media statement has been viewed by more than 150 million people.
But let’s be clear: Mr. Coxon is not alone in his fears.
Leading experts inside and outside the AI industry have been echoing Mr. Coxon’s clarion call for years.
And that is that unless we reverse course, there is a very real possibility that once advanced AI surpasses human intelligence, it could escape our control with catastrophic consequences.
In other words, advanced AI and superintelligence pose an existential threat to humanity.
That is why I will soon be introducing legislation with Representative @RepCasar to pause advanced AI and ban superintelligence altogether.
Please take a moment to read what just a few of these experts have said in the past few days.
Thanks to @TaylorPopielarz for assembling this research.
Paul Christiano, Member of the OpenAI nonprofit board’s Safety and Security Committee: "Based on the recent trajectory of capabilities and the continued difficulty of alignment, I now believe there is a meaningful risk that rapid acceleration in AI capabilities leads to catastrophic and irreversible loss of control in the very near term. I do not think that the AI industry in general, including OpenAI, is currently on track to reduce this risk to an acceptable level … If we build superintelligence without more robust alignment I expect we will permanently lose control of it. If that happens then most people could die. I believe we would need domestic and international coordination to ensure global consistency and reduce risk to an acceptable level.”
Samuel Marks, Scalable Oversight lead at Anthropic: "AI developers believe their technology could cause human extinction (or similarly bad outcomes). This could happen in the next few years.”
Evan Hubinger, Alignment Science lead at Anthropic: "Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans!”
Alex Turner, former Research Scientist at Google DeepMind: "I left Google DeepMind in June. Jacob is right: many researchers believe they are building something that could kill everyone on the planet. It was literally my day job to think about how to stop that."
Jakub Pachocki, Chief Scientist at OpenAI: "This is a time that calls for extreme caution. I am concerned no one is prepared for the consequences of a continued rapid rise in machine intelligence.”
Jason Wolfe, Researcher at OpenAI: "I don't know what my probabilities are on literal extinction, but I think there are a number of ways AI could go poorly for humanity, and at the current frankly terrifying pace humanity will be quite lucky if we manage to find and stay on the narrow path between all the bad outcomes.
Jonathan Richard Schwarz, former Senior Research Scientist at Google DeepMind: "I left DeepMind after 7 years (and since rejected offers to join the other two) due to severe concerns about the concentration of power these labs represent. What is currently happening in this field is deeply unhealthy for society.”
This is complete BS attempting to fuel the right wing conspiracies of PM Carney being "controlled by the CCP!" This is all the current CPC knows how to do is LIE & SPREAD DEFAMATION!

Such an obvious Kremlin compromised Trump & all the American "patriots" are too blind to see or too scared to do what the US Constitution says needs to be done to a treasonous tyrant in the White House!

Only Canadians would make their point in such a special way. So proud of my fellow Canadians and their amazing creativity-
If only the cognitively declining, malignant narcissist in the White could absorb facts & statistics?! But we know he can't! Like a dementia stricken relative in a nursing home he repeats his grievances like a broken record!
Trump needs to hang for treason, corruption & crimes against humanity & nature! Sadly he'll stroke out before being held accountable for his crimes!
IMPEACH THIS TREASONOUS MF!

🇵🇱 Polish PM Tusk was absolutely right that Trump is Moscow's asset
Elon Musk belongs in prison for election interference, vote tampering & breach of Americans private data!
Elon Musk documentary, ‘Musk,’ contends that his four-month stint in Washington last year did more than gleefully ax 270,000 federal employees and untold billions in life-saving aid.
Director Alex Gibney suggests that Musk also had access to and potentially collected intimate data on tens of millions of Americans possibly even for later political use.
Geoffrey Hinton, the Nobel-prize-winning godfather of AI, offers a specific use case: leveraging the data into an unfair campaign advantage. “It’s fairly clear to me that Trump is hell-bent on corrupting the midterm elections,” he says onscreen. “If you wanted to corrupt those midterm elections and you wanted to use AI, all you needed to do was get detailed information on U.S. citizens. And what DOGE did looked like just what you would do.”

Trump & Hegseth are now causing more US military casualties with their gross incompetence & inability to end the war with Iran! Also pretty evident US is out of interceptor missiles!
Trump 2.0 is an authoritarian fascist regime intent on subjugation of Canada & other Allies through coercion, blackmail & extortion!
We are dealing with some seriously twisted people.
From a Canadian perspective, I have to say: this is not normal.
Look at what is being put out through official U.S. government channels. One picture was posted by the White House. Another came from the U.S. Department of the Interior press. These aren’t random people on the internet. These are official institutions of the United States government, speaking to the world on behalf of the American state.
And as a Canadian, I find that deeply disturbing. Because the whole world is watching this. Not just Canadians. Not just Americans.
All of us.
People around the world are watching how the United States chooses to use its enormous political power, its influence, and its institutions.
I don’t believe I’ve ever seen another country engage in this kind of openly vindictive rhetoric in quite this way. Not Russia. Not China. Not even North Korea.
For generations, Canadians have looked to the United States as our closest neighbour, our largest trading partner, and one of the world’s most influential democracies. We may disagree with American governments, and Canadians certainly have plenty of opinions about American politics, but there has always been an expectation that, beneath the political battles, there was a certain standard of conduct.
This feels like something different.
There is a difference between defending your country and taking pleasure in humiliating someone. There is a difference between strong rhetoric and rhetoric that appears designed specifically to hurt, provoke, and degrade.
There is a difference between protecting your own country and wanting to tear down another for no reason.
It wasn’t enough to drive in the knife; they had to twist it too.
And from outside the United States, it is difficult to watch this and understand how anyone can consider it appropriate for a government to behave this way. This isn’t about being Canadian versus American. It isn’t about left versus right. It isn’t even about whether you agree with the person being targeted.
It’s about standards.
If a foreign government behaved this way, many of the same people would be outraged. They would call it cruel, undignified, or authoritarian, and rightfully so.
Canada and the United States have had disagreements for generations. We have argued over trade, foreign policy, borders, energy, defence, and countless other issues. But disagreement between neighbours does not require contempt for one another.
In fact, precisely because Canada and the United States are so closely connected, what happens there matters enormously to us.
Anybody who thinks this is acceptable behaviour simply because it is coming from “their side” has lost the plot.
Because governments are supposed to represent more than anger, vengeance, and political tribalism. They are supposed to represent their people.
And I would hope that Americans, regardless of their political beliefs, can still recognize the difference between strength and cruelty.
The whole world is watching.
And what they are seeing is not strength.
It’s something much uglier.
