This is beautiful to see. Did you bring along some stickers?
@pyconapac is one of the python communities that's doing well. Give them their Flowers 💐💐 I don't fail to mention them in my conversation and today I got a chance to meet them in person at their Booth. That's a dream come true, @JessicaUpani , are you not jealous?
Worth a read.
Thanks to @ewa_jodlowska , @NaomiCeder and everyone else who has made an impact to the Python Africa community.
The python Africa community has sent an open letter to @ThePSF . We raise concerns over issues that have negatively affected our communities and many of us feel hurt. Please take a moment to understand where we are coming from: pythonafrica.blogspot.com/20…

Today PyLadies are preparing to hear from three amazing ladies in the Tech space.
They will be discussing contributing to open source software, career in software development, scholarships and more!
Set your date at 19h00 CAT.
Despite all the odds, we have a supportive community behind us and they continue to show support in many ways than one.
Big ups to you all!

Tanzania is on the open-source software map: the first DjangoCon Africa is coming to Zanzibar. We are short on our financial aid budget and need your help to bring more attendees to the conference. Donate to our fundraiser gofundme.com/f/djangocon-afr… #djangoconafrica

If we are still fighting this kind of fight then something is wrong with our community.
Someone is using their position to push a personal agenda at the expense of the African community and my guess is they know nothing of the work we have done and they don't deserve that sit.
I have been in the Python community for years and this has always been a discussion that I find so narrow minded and infuriating!
Daniele's writing on this is spot on! I'll stop myself from saying anything else for the moment😣
