It's been a really long time since I've even opened this website, so this announcement is coming pretty last-minute, but I'm so excited to share that today I'm starting my postdoctoral fellowship at the beautiful @SFVAMC!
It was over a month ago, but I'm happy to announce that my dissertation defense on 7/26 went well and I am Phinally Done!! (pending degree conferral in January) So grateful to @FulfordDr and the @BUamplab for the best Ph.D. experience I could have asked for 🥰
Congrats @JessicaLMow on a successful defense! We'll miss you in the @BUamplab but are excited for what's to come!

"My schizophrenia is & will always be a fundamental part of who I am. Loving myself means loving my schizophrenia. It’s time the healthcare system acknowledges the need for a movement to convince people with this condition of their worth."

Smartphone-based mobility metrics capture daily social motivation and behavior in schizophrenia, from @FulfordDr @JessicaLMow and team: sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
I'm excited to announce that I officially have another first-author paper - and you can even read it online! sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
Main takeaways (1/6):
5/6 I won't spoil the *entire* discussion, but one potential key difference here is the quality of these interactions, which we did not assess. E.g., moving around more could result in more superficial interactions but not time spent connecting with friends.
6/6 I also learned that GPS data is very large and unwieldy, and I had never used so much R before in my life. But that just makes it all the more satisfying to see this paper out in the world! Thank you to @FulfordDr and @BUamplab for all your help and support!
